ROLLTOP UTE LIDS
The Roll Top consists of an aluminium curtain that rolls up into a small canister that is located next to the cabin. The canister is 150mm x 150mm in dual cab Utes, slightly larger in single cab Utes. The curtain is spring loaded (just like a garage roll-a-door), so that when you unlock the Cover it quickly rolls down the tray into the canister. The spring tension can be adjusted as required. There is a top quality flush mounted lock in the centre of the cover at the tailgate end, and when the key is activated, two locking bars slide into either side - making it almost impossible to jemmy open. The roll top is water resistant. Water runs to both sides of the Cover and is collected in the channels of the side panels, and then drains away down four drain tubes that are installed internally. There is an inspection hatch at the front of the Cover, which can be opened to remove leaves etc that may have rolled into the canister. This hatch also allows access to the spring for re-tensioning. However removal of this hatch dosen't allow access to the tray thereby preventing theft from this area
